VIDEO RENDERING / REMOTION LAMBDA

Your videos.
Our render servers.

Send your Remotion renderer jobs to BlitzFrames. Keep the Lambda workflow you already use, with automatic AWS fallback when a render server cannot be reached.

Usage-based billing. No fixed monthly platform fee.

YOUR EXISTING WORKFLOW

Connect. Render. Carry on.

01

Connect your Lambda

After checkout, your account page shows one environment variable. Set it on your Remotion Lambda function and keep everything else as it is.

02

Render on BlitzFrames

Renderer calls go to our servers. Results return through the stream your existing Remotion workflow consumes.

03

Pay for your usage

We add up elapsed time across remote renderer attempts and bill monthly. Manage your subscription through Stripe.

ONE RATE. NO TIERS.

Rendering that adds up.

US$0.00002 per renderer second,
measured in milliseconds.

  • Each remote attempt counts, including retries and failures.
  • AWS fallback attempts are excluded from BlitzFrames usage.
  • Parallel renderer time is added together.
  • Prices are in USD, excluding applicable taxes.

For example: 20 renderers running for 3 seconds each use 60 renderer seconds — US$0.0012 before tax.

A FEW DETAILS

Before you render.

What exactly is a renderer second?

The elapsed time from starting a remote renderer attempt until its response stream finishes, as observed by the Lambda relay. This includes waiting and streaming time. It is not CPU time or the duration of the finished video. Time from parallel renderers is added together.

What happens if a server is unavailable?

A connection failure, server HTTP 5xx response, or a one-second wait for response headers falls back to your stock AWS Lambda renderer. That attempt is excluded from BlitzFrames usage. Errors after streaming starts follow Remotion’s existing error handling.

What else do I need?

Your own compatible Remotion Lambda setup, AWS account and any required Remotion licence. AWS, storage, data transfer and Remotion costs are separate from BlitzFrames usage. Contact us to confirm compatibility before installing.

How do I cancel?

Sign in to the billing portal with your checkout email, or email simon@rsites.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. Accrued usage remains payable; stop submitting renders whenever you no longer want to incur usage.
